8.8″ wireless Apple CarPlay + Android auto Head unit multimedia for BMW X3 F25 X4 F26 CIC NBT

It is a multimedia touchscreen with built-in Apple CarPlay and Google Android auto compatibility. It replaces the OEM screen and will add the following functions to your car:

• Apple CarPlay (wired and wireless)
• Android Auto (wired)
• Play video or music from USB

The head unit has a built-in microphone and supports Siri and the Google Assistant via voice commands (“Hey Siri” / “Okay Google”) or by long pressing the voice button on the steering wheel.

IMPORTANT

This device is not Android. To use CarPlay and Android auto, it must be connected to a phone (wired or wireless). Without a connected mobile phone, you can only use the OEM system or the simple music and video playback functions.
This unit emits sound via AUX, please make sure your car has AUX function before ordering.
This device does not support AirPlay and Screen Mirroring.

HOW IT’S WORKING?

When the unit (CarPlay head unit) is inactive, the original video signal is transmitted as is and the car continues to run as before.

When CarPlay is activated, the display shows the video signal of the CarPlay unit instead.

When reversing the car and using CarPlay, the system will automatically switch to the camera without manual operation.

You can easily switch between the box and the original head unit. (TIPS: Press and hold the “Menu” button to switch the system)

The use of the CarPlay head unit is optional and should be viewed as an accessory and not a replacement.

• BMW X4 F26 2014, 2015, 2016

If your car is a 2012 and 2013 model, please check that the LVDS cable on the back of the screen is 4PIN or 6PIN, 4PIN is the CIC system, and 6PIN is the NBT system.Our products are compatible with the CIC / NBT system. If your car is equipped with an EVO system, it will not work.
NOTE: Please make sure your car has AUX function. The CarPlay head unit sends audio via AUX.
