Audi maps of Singapore and firmware update – a handy bundle pack
You want to update Singapore maps in your Audi? There’s one catch – to do a map update you have to have the latest version of the MMI’s firmware installed. How can you check whether you’ve got the right software? Just go to the engineering menu of the MMI – usually you’ll need to press the CAR and SETUP buttons at the same time – and write down the firmware version number. Then just type it in our Check Upgrade Tool. The tool will show you whether you need a firmware update, and also what type of MMI you’ve got.
If you need both the firmware and Audi Singapore maps update you should choose one of our bundle packs – we offer software for MMI 3G Plus HN+, 3G Plus HN+R, and 3G High, compatible with the popular Audi models. No need for a new firmware? Our maps updates are just right for you!
How to do an update of the Audi maps of Singapore?
First of all, buy the map update – after the purchase you’ll get a download link with all the files. Unpack them with 7zip and put them on two SD cards (they have to be in FAT32 format). Then put the SD card with installation files in the card slot of your MMI – after 30-60 seconds, an Audi map update menu should appear. Just click “Yes” and wait for the installation to end. After that you’ll have to boot the MMI (press RADIO, CAR, NAV, MEDIA, and TEL buttons) and activate the Audi maps of Singapore – to do that, insert the second SD card, wait 30 seconds, and reboot the MMI. The newest Audi maps of Singapore should be installed and ready to use!
